Description The International Percussion Summer Course has been designed for experienced percussionists as well as percussion students who have completed most or all of their formal training. The aim of the course is to achieve the  highest level in performance of percussion music. This course represents a great opportunity for all participants to concentrate during five days on several contemporary percussion issues, interacting  closely with world class faculty as well as fellow participants in master classes, private lessons, concert performances and informal gatherings. Because of its multi-cultural atmosphere, this course  will become a unique learning experience for all those involved.  Your participation at the International Percussion Summer Course in Mexico with Tambuco will be a highly memorable and artistically productive experience.

Location and Venue Mexico City, the largest city in the world, is home for the  National Centre for the Arts  Mexico’s main centre for creation and performing arts.  CENART organizes along the year countless festivals, top performance seasons as well as cultural and academic events of international stature.  The International Percussion Course will take place at CENART as from July 27 -31, 2006.

USD $100.00 for the full 5 day course


Accomodation
CENART is conveniently located at the south of the city. Very close to the beautiful,  historic town
of Coyoacán. Some hotels are located within a walking distance from CENART and special fees have
been arranged for all participants.
